Voltage-Drop_Test_620

Voltage-Drop_Test_620We visit another common tool in the technician’s arsenal for diagnosing parasitic draws and other electrical maladies: voltage drop testing. In this month’s iATN spotlight, Roger from New York shows how he used voltage drop testing to diagnose a faulty relay after several other diagnostic techniques failed to pinpoint the source of the issue.

He wrapped his post with this statement: “I hope this long boring read can help someone understand the value of voltage drop testing and how valuable it is to have a firm understanding as to how electricity works.” We think he accomplished his goal. Great post Robert!
