A common theme related to Booster PAC products is that it solves problems. This is true whether the commenter is a professional or a consumer, whether they are new to Booster PAC or they’ve been using the products for years. Below are a few examples of recent emails we received related to our Booster PAC products.

AUTO SHOP MANAGER LOVES SOLAR
“Manager at an Auto shop in Moab, Utah. We have always used SOLAR products (ES2500 and ES5000). We have one that lasted for 7 years of hard use. Tried to save money once and got a cheaper product. It lasted only about 6-7 months and took a crap. Right back to SOLAR and never again will I waste money on an inferior product.”

TRADE CARS NOT JUMP STARTERS
“Hello. I do a lot of car buying and trading. Well, you know how frustrating it is when trying to start a vehicle and it won’t start. Switching batteries, boosting them off and still not a good connection to start. I bought a SOLAR Booster PAC ES5000 and solved a lot of problems for myself. It is a great product and very compact to store anywhere. Thanks :-)”

OUT OF THE BOX RESULTS
“I bought the ES2500 yesterday at NAPA Auto Parts. Then, when I got home, my riding mower wouldn’t start. I used my old battery charger, which then overheated and would not start my mower. I used my ES2500 and it started immediately. I am happy with my purchase already!”

What issue are you having? The Booster PAC doesn’t have a serial number so you can skip that field. If that’s what your issue is.

  1. Hi, I have an old booster pac es2500. There is no charging port for it. There is a cigarette port though but I have no idea how to charge it. Please advise.

    1. Hello – Thanks for your question. For the unit to not have a charging port, it is over 25 years old. In this case, charging is done through the 12V outlet. We have a unit designed for this use. It is model ESA401 and can be purchased from our website here: https://cloreautomotive.com/product/esa401/. Thanks, Jim from Clore Automotive

  4. Hi Johara,
My es5000, kept charged but unused in a cold garage for a year, promptly and powerfully started my dead car. But now after three days of keeping it plugged in and charging, I see 3 red lights but no green “charge complete” light. Is this okay? Do three reds mean it’s fully charged? Will the green light ever come on if I keep it permanently plugged in? Will it keep using electricity if the green doesn’t come on? Thanks, Bob in Willow, NY

    1. Bob – Thanks for your question. If you are getting the unit to tthe three lights, you should be fine. Sometimes, the battery could sit just below (0.1V) below the threshold for lighting the complete light, but is still charging fine and giving the battery a full and complete charge. I suggest taking it off charge, letting it sit for 5-7 days and then charging it again for 12-24 hours. This may be enough to get it to cross the point where it will light the complete light. Thanks, Jim from Clore Automotive

  5. I have a Booster Pac ES2500.after it was fully charged several months went by without use. When I tried to jumpstart my neighbor’s boat battery, only the yellow light came on. So I charged it for more than 24 hours. All three red lights and the green came on, so I unplugged it. The indicator lights immediately went to only two red lights. What is happening?

Can these chargers be overcharge the way some lithium batteries do?
    Please advise. Thank you.

    1. Stephen – Thanks for your question. If using the supplied wall charger, the ES2500 cannot be overcharged. II suggest calling our Tech Line at 800 328 2921, option 2 for assistance. They can help to diagnose your specific unit/issue. Thanks, Jim from Clore Automotive
